Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kigali City – Nyungwe Forest National Park
Your picked by our driver/guide from your overnight accommodation after breakfast to head to Nyungwe forest with a stopover at the cultural genocide museum for an art and craft experience.
Have lunch en-route and thereafter continue to the park with an evening nature walk in the tea plantations near Nyungwe forest.
Dinner and overnight at Nyungwe Forest Lodge (High end lodge) or Nyungwe Hill hotel (Moderate facility) or Gisakura Guest House (Budget facility).

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking & Canopy walk
Have an early breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing about the forest and the chimpanzees before entering the jungle to search for the chimps in the tree branches.
The other primate species to see here include: black and white Colubus, velvet monkeys, and mangabey plus birds, and butterflies, among others.
Return to the lodge for lunch and prepare for the evening canopy walk, another opportunity to spot primates and birds at a closer range.
Dinner and overnight at Nyungwe Forest Lodge (High end lodge) or Nyungwe Hill Hotel (Moderate facility) or Gisakura Guest House (Budget facility).

Day 3: Nyungwe forest-Kigali
After breakfast, embark on the drive back to Kigali with en-route lunch and a visit to the genocide memorial center in Kigali before proceeding to the airport for your return flight home
